ADHD 및 학교부적응 학생들의 인지적 특성 및 실행기능과 뇌파 비교연구

초록

본 연구는 ADHD 와 학교부적응, 일반학생들 간의 인지적 특성을 확인하기 위하여 지능검사와 실행기능검사를 실시하고 인지활동 상태에서 EEG를 통한 뇌파측정을 실시하여 각 집단 간 차이를 밝히고, 그 특성을 알아보고자 하였다.

이에 경상도에 소재한 일반초등학교에서 표집된 21명 중 IQ를 통제하여 최종 19명이 최종 선별(ADHD 3명, 학교부적응 8명, 일반 8명)되었다. 인지적 특성을 알아보고자 K-WISC-Ⅲ와 전두엽 관리기능검사인 Kim's 검사, 그리고 뇌파를 측정하기 위해 뉴로하모니의 EEG 측정도구를 사용하였다.

연구결과 ADHD집단과 학교부적응집단 모두 인지적 특성에서는 언어이해영역에서 유의미하게 낮은 점수차를 보였으며, 특히 학교부적응집단에서만 주의집중과 처리속도에서 일반집단에 비해 유의미하게 낮은 점수를 보였다.

ADHD 집단은 실행기능 검사에서 충동-억제 및 지속적이고 선택적인 주의집중을 요하는 중간시행과 간섭시행, 그리고 실행기능 전체 점수에서 일반집단에 비해 유의미하게 낮게 보고되었다. 뇌파측정에서는 ADHD집단이 일반집단과 학교부적응집단에 비해 알파파와 베타파에서 뚜렷하게 높은 수치가 나왔다.

그러므로 ADHD와 학교부적응집단, 일반집단은 각 집단별 인지적 특성과 실행기능의 특성에서 양적, 질적인 차이를 지니므로 인지적 프로그램을 실시 시 학생들의 특성에 맞는 별도의 교육적 프로그램이 실시되어야 한다.

The purposes of this study were to figure out difference of the intellectual characters, executive function and brain signals among ADHD, Maladjustment and Normal students. The Participants were 19 elementary students who live in Daegu and Kyungsang-do(3 in ADHD, 8 in maladjustment, 8 in control). The intellectual characters and Executive functions were assessed by using KEDI-WISC-III and Kim’s Task, and they had their brain signal test through EEG devices of Neuro-harmony corp. We analyzed using ANOVA and Post-hoc analysis. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, the analysis of variance of Verbal Comprehension Index indicated significant mean differences for ADHD and Maladjustment groups, with the lower scores in these groups rather than in Control group. Specially, the Maladjustment group showed significant mean differences for Processing speed and Freedom from Distractibility Index(FDI) factors. Secondly, in EF tasks, Level 2, Level 3 and EF’s total scores indicated significant mean differences for ADHD group, with the lower scores rather than in others. Thirdly, in EEG tasks, ADHD group showed their brain signals of alpha and beta is very high while they’re under the intellectual activity. Therefore, this study showed difference of ADHD and Maladjustment Students’ Executive function and Intellectual traits, also suggested to develop education program for Intellectual and Cognitive activity for their each groups.
